About Me

I have a passion for expressing my emotions through acrylic paintings and stained glass, focusing on animals and nature as a clear muse. I am intimidated, yet excited to show off my work. Entering the art world as a self-taught artist, my credentials are nothing but passion, imagination, and determination. I like to use texture, color and light to harness the unique energy of emotion that evokes deep feelings within us. The beauty of art and its appreciation come to people in many different forms. As Helen Keller once said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.” I truly believe that for a painting to exist above the ordinary, it has to convey emotion embedded in the medium from the artist’s imagination to the viewer’s heart. I am not afraid to experiment with acrylic paintings, stained glass, or other media, it is with this emotion that I fill my art with passion and creativity.

This new website marks the humble beginning of my art journey. I would like to thank everyone who so kindly visits my site, views my paintings, and or writes comments. It is very awesome to receive your thoughtful words and a pleasure to share with you my work. Special thanks to my family: my wife, Eileen, who has given me her love and years of encouragement to pursue my passion, my son Aaron whose food blog has given me great inspiration and courage, and his twin brother Darren who shares the love of emotion with me through his poetry.
