I was taking an early morning walk in the wood and was totally absorbed by the reflections of sun light filtering through a small patch of birch forest. These are very brief moments that happen every morning and are easily missed. The faint filtered sunlight descending upon the birch trees was unpretentious and gentle as a soft touch of a feather. I was particularly captivated by the beautiful soft yellow-orange glow on dark blue tree trunks and branches. This painting is my rendition of that brief magical moment that we all take for granted each day.
