Manhattan Bridge is known for the stunning views of the Lower Manhattan skyline and, of course, great variety of graffiti on the rooftops of Chinatown. At the sea level and up close, I also marvel at the gorgeous sturdy design of the bridge metal infrastructure. At this early hour, only a handful of pedestrians are seen. The dense fog cloaks the early morning sun, reduces the surrounding buildings into overlapping silhouettes, and makes the towering bridge deck more impressive.

Although I titled this painting “Thousand Bubbles”, there are actually close to 10,000 bubbles altogether. “Thousand Bubbles” is the first number in my Order and Chaos Collection.
