“Dubai Above Fog” is the third of 6 paintings out of my City Skyline Collection. We are heading over to Paris next.

Nope, this is not San Francisco. Guess again. If you say Dubai, you are correct. This is a scene of Dubai under thick fog at day break. Here in Dubai, dense fog descends on the city twice a year. In this painting, the silhouette of Burj Khalifa (tallest building in the city) and a handful of skyscrapers are seen bursting through the fog. The top right area of the painting is highlighted with a bright yellow spot suggesting placement of the early morning sun behind clouds. The scorching sun paints the clouds in its path with vivid yellow, orange and pink colors. The blue sky to the left suggests a bright sunny day ahead after the fog is lifted.
