This is an interpretation of terraced rice fields at high altitude in a misty spring morning.
This painting depicts rice fields at high altitude on a misty spring morning. Several farmers are seen working in the flooded plain. Under the hazy sun, the flooded rice fields reflect the splendid colors of the morning clouds. The frontal plain drops sharply into a deep valley. The high clouds, deep valleys, soaring mountain ranges and raging waterfalls all work to accentuate the height perception of the landscape.
