“Pacific Sunset” is my rendition of a glorious sunset of Kona coast (Hawaii Island). I was mesmerized by the ever-changing reflections of light on the gentle waves. I was equally attracted to frolicking sandpipers on the warm sandy beach. They meticulously pecked and probed with their short bills to hunt for insects and worms. The familiar three-note twees of sandpipers came through large and clear in between the rhythmic rumbling sound of crashing waves.
